Xcoders 15th Anniversary: October 10
On the second Thursday of next month (October 10) Seattle Xcoders will celebrate its 15th anniversary!
We’re not throwing a big shindig — we’re just doing what we always do, because we love what we always do. We’ll have a meeting.
And afterwards we’ll go to the Cyclops, just a few blocks away, for food and drinks and conversation. As always.
And that’s it.
Well… that’s not it. We will do one special thing. The meeting will feature a panel, moderated by Liz Marley and Jared Sorge — your Xcoders podcasters — and featuring some people who’ve been regulars for much of these past 15 years.
So that’s kind of special. But what would make this really special is if you came. If you live in or near Seattle, and haven’t been yet, this is a great first time to attend. If you normally go to Redmond Xcoders — it’s your 15th anniversary too, since Xcoders started in Seattle. Same with Vancouver folks — come on down!
And if you used to go to Xcoders, but you’ve moved away from the area, and you could find your way here for this — we’d be thrilled.
Even if you’ve never been, and just want to help celebrate one of the great independent institutions of the Mac and iOS era — please be our guest!
Even though we talk tech, Xcoders is not, and never has been, about the tech. It’s about the people. It’s about you.
PS Oh yeah — details! Doors open at 6:30 pm, Oct. 10, and the meeting starts at 7 pm. It’s at Zulily in Belltown: 2601 Elliott Ave. Please enter through the SW doors.
